We are thrilled to announce that
AlphaGraphics Downtown Kansas City has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (
WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US.
WBENC certification verifies that a company is woman-owned and is one of the most rigorous and sought after certifications of its kind. Companies and government agencies that hire WBE's as vendors and partners show their commitment to fostering diversity.
At the request of our clients,
AlphaGraphics Downtown Kansas City also expanded certification with Kansas City, Missouri. Adding the WBE and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification to the existing Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) certification.
Vendor Diversity is Smart for Business
AlphaGraphics Kansas City has always been a woman-owned and operated business. While these additional certifications don’t change the products and services we deliver, they do help our clients meet their vendor diversity goals. For some clients, vendor diversity is a contract or grant requirement. Our WBENC and KCMO certification helps our clients meet such obligations.
For all of our clients, vendor diversity is smart business. Marketing and communication is a team effort. The strongest and most creative teams are those that span a broad range of perspectives and capabilities. Including multiple viewpoints from the beginning to the completion of a project, means that our clients achieve greater results.
Women Supporting Women
As a leader in the printing industry and a women-owned business, I am proud that
AlphaGraphics Kansas City is part of our clients’ diverse teams.
Our team contributes a unique perspective to every project. Incorporating technical and creative expertise through our unique career histories and interests.
I am proud to support women by advocating for diversity in my industry and encouraging other women in printing, marketing, and business ownership.
My goal with certification is to enjoy close connections with other women business leaders and entrepreneurs to develop opportunities for partnership and support. Kansas City has a thriving woman-owned business community. Developing connections is critical for our community to achieve diversity goals and to further efforts in supporting diverse organizations.
Progress (and profit!) happen when we all support diversity. If you are like-minded and need results-driven printing, marketing or communications support,
