Increasing Capabilities
About a year ago, Alphagraphics Madison expanded our large format capabilities by purchasing an HP Latex 26100 Solvent Printer, allowing us to venture into exterior signage. We've been doing high end posters and prints for years on our Canon IPF9000 and architectural drawings on our Oce and Canon printers so this really wasn't too much of a "gulp and go"... but rather a logical "next step" to our oversized offerings.
So here we are in a new world of seemingly endless possibilities! We can print on 13 ounce vinyl for outside banners and yard signs, a beautiful smooth vinyl for wall murals and sandwich boards, perforated see through material for windows and glass doors and much more. Oh... and this new printer also does a great job with traditional papers as wide as 54 inches. There's also a plethora of substrates now available to us - coroplast, ultra mount, PVC, aluma core, MDO board etc. Depending on how long your project needs to be exposed to the ever changing Wisconsin weather, there's something out there that can do the trick.
The nice thing, too, is that our whole staff is having fun with these new projects. I guess it's the little (and big!) things in life that make us happy!
Hope you enjoy the picture..... Think they're worth 1000 words!
