Madison-based alt-folk rock band The Mascot Theory came to AlphaGraphics - Madison in need of branding materials to support their debut album release and subsequent touring. After sitting down with their head of marketing (also the lead singer of the band) we came up with a list of items that would help them succeed with their on and off-stage branding efforts. The first item we produced for them on our HP Latex printer was a vinyl banner with grommets that they could hang on their merchandise table, with a full color design that included their logo and other design elements from their album packaging. Secondly we created a series of three very large 10’x3’ posters that the band attached to custom wood frames and used as backdrops for their live stage show (see picture). One band member told us the venue was extremely impressed by the look of their stage setup, in large part due to those large posters that blended perfectly with the natural stone formation behind the stage. We also used our digital copier to create short-run event posters and business cards for the band, and we are all very excited to begin working on marketing items for their next album which comes out in the fall of 2014, which is currently being recorded in Nashville, TN.
