Embroidery

Screen Printing

What is Embroidery?
Embroidery is an apparel customization process, where a logo, design, or text is sewn into a piece of fabric. It is a great way to customize your branding to a standardized uniform, or to everyone's individual style.
What is Screen Printing?
Screen Printing is a process that lays ink on top of apparel, applied through a "screen" for each color and design. This process is the most cost effective and has low minimum quantities.

What kinds of apparel can it be used on?
Almost everything! Ask our apparel specialists for more details!
What kinds of apparel can it be used on?
This type of process can be used on any apparel; however it is perfect for large quantities of t-shirts with few colors.

What are some common uses for embroidery?
Uniforms, Polos, Hats, Scrubs, Button-Down/Oxford Shirts, Blazer Jackets, Tote Bags and Backpacks, Cloth Napkins, Blankets/Throws, Pillow Shams, Rain Coats, Fire-Resistant and Industrial Clothing, and anything else you can think of.

What are some common uses for Screen Printing?
Sporting events, conference giveaways, and fundraisers are all amazing uses for screen printed apparel. This option is the best for single day events and giveaway shirts.

What is Digitizing?
Digitizing is a one-time process that takes a logo, and converts it into "stitches", or in other words - a conversion of the design that the embroidery will take into thread.
How can I make my brand's colors exact?
Screen printing can use inks to exactly match any PMS or Pantone color, in addition to offering unique inks like bright neons and metallic inks.

Dye Sublimation

Direct-To-Garment

What is Dye Sublimation?
Dye Sublimation, or dye-sub, is a customization process that allows ink to fuse directly into the fibers of fabric. This leaves no residue, resulting in a never-crack, never-fade finish.

What is Direct to Garment?
Direct to Garment, or DTG, is a process that digitally prints on fabric, allowing for low quantities with detailed full color design.

What kinds of apparel can it be used on?
This process can only be used on 100% polyester - the chemical reaction taking place between the ink, heat, and fabric can only take place on polyester.

What kinds of apparel can it be used on?
This process can only be used on 100% cotton - similar to the reaction that occurs in dye-sublimation, the ink binds to the natural fibers of the cotton.

What are some common uses for Dye Sublimation?
The most common use is for outside activities. The standard dry-fit feel of the shirts makes them perfect for working outside, or enjoying leisure activities like fishing, running, or biking, among many others.

What are some common uses for Direct to Garment?
This process is great for any cotton apparel. Many clients use it in coordination with embroidery to create a logo on the front of the shirt and a full-color design on the back of the shirt.

What is Ring-Spun Poly?
Ring-Spun Poly is a unique type of fabric, which has a cotton-like finish. It is great for our clientele who are looking for a soft cotton shirt and the no-crack, no-fade finish of dye-sub.
What is White Ink?
This type of ink is brand new to the DTG technology scene, and allows for printing light colors on dark shirts, as well as having white in the designs. The industry standard is CMYK, so AlphaGraphics Park Cities | North Dallas is proud to bring you this extended capability.
