There is no doubt that the commercial print world is going more and more digital. As digital press manufacturers create machines that produce higher quality work more efficiently, this trend will continue. As a printer, some of the most exciting aspects of the digital revolution is the continued improvement of in-line finishing. A great example of this is our recent installation of a Xerox 1000 digital press with in-line booklet making. This press will produce complete, full bleed booklets straight off the press and into the box. This will greatly reduce overall costs to the consumer as well as decrease delivery times. The press also utilizes Clear Dry Ink, which can be used to spot varnish images or even create a watermark effect.
