Mark worked at Frito-Lay (PepsiCo) from 1998 to 2012. He steadily advanced through sales leadership positions of increased accountability over a 14-year period. Mark led some of the company’s largest national accounts and directed teams of 200+ sales staff. As the Senior Director of Sales, Mark led HQ selling and field execution while managing a $350MM P&L. While working as the Division Sales Manager he led a team of 8 regional sales managers covering all US Sam’s Club stores. As Zone Sales Leader he achieved sales and profit goals within $80M Central Virginia zone; leading 12 direct reports and 200 frontline personnel. As a National Account Manager, he led growth and development of national accounts generating $70M annually.
Mark worked at the General Electric Company (GE) from 1989 to 1997. He progressed through sales management and product planning positions within GE’s appliance division during 8-year tenure holding regional, national, and global leadership roles. Hired to implement appliance sales and distribution strategies in multi-million dollar territory and culminated with full P&L oversight of service contract sales organization. Over course of term, he led up to 15 direct report sales representatives, a national group of authorized exporters, and refrigerator private label business.
