AlphaGraphics Sign Care Do's:
- Assuming you have made the right decision and ordered your outdoor sign for long-term outdoor life with premium UV protected lamination, then you shouldn't really have to do anything.
- If you do decide to clean your sign/vinyl graphics, please use standard soap and water. For regular general washing, use mild detergents such as Dawn®.
- Test your soap and water on a small, inconspicuous area of the sign first and inspect any blemishes.
- Use a clean, soft cotton cloth when necessary and frequently replace the cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
AlphaGraphics Sign Care Don'ts:
- Avoid using solvents such as nail polish remover, mineral spirits, and paint remover. These chemicals will damage the finish.
- Avoid using bleach or cleaners that contain bleach, as these cleaners may permanently discolor the finish.
- Steer clear of cleaners that contain any kind of abrasives, as they may scratch the finish. Please don't use scrub brushes either.
- Don't pressure wash the sign or vinyl lettering/graphics at a high pressure as this may damage the sign and/or finish.
