The printing effects of silver logo outline, subdued blue squares and white text on blue are layered in two passes with the 5th color machine with little effort
You can see in the picture white on black lettering, and some silver. This is achieved by printing white ink on silver paper. Areas without white coverage or the dark blue over that shine silver. Areas not covered with white but covered with dark blue have a subdued darker blue. Notice this effect on the checkered flag at bottom of badge.
