Production Specialist: Large Format & Bindery Production

We have an opening in our production department. This position will perform duties in our Large Format production department and help with bindery and print finishing as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC router/cutter to produce a variety of signage and display graphics products
• Operate digital production equipment such as wide format and flatbed printers
• Cutting, weeding, and mounting of cut vinyl on different substrates
• Installation of vehicle graphics
• Operate production equipment in a safe, efficient, and appropriate manner
• Regularly review work to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate with center manager/production manager for daily jobs.
• Review customer orders and due dates – Read and follow job ticket instructions and requirements
• Maintain an inventory of supplies. Inform Production Manager when supplies are needed
• Prepare completed jobs for shipment, including entering shipping information on ups.com
• Keep the area around machines clean and organized
• Assist with print production, bindery, and finishing
  • Operation of print finishing equipment such as envelope printing, cutting, creasing, folding, UV coating, coil binding
  • Some handwork may be involved

• Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud helpful
