We all have defining moments of our lives, and for each of us they are different. It may be the birth of a child, an unexpected career opportunity, the death of a loved one, or meeting the person of your dreams. Some defining moments you seek out and work toward, others are unwelcome. It is the latter that affected a member of the AlphaGraphics teams three years ago, and it is that we have dedicated the next few months toward.
Three years ago, our co-worker Rhonda Kile was diagnosed with breast cancer, and early detection was the key to her being with us today. In January 2012 we will be happily celebrating Rhonda’s 60
th revolution around the sun, and are marking the occasion by participating, as Team MammAGraphics, in the Susan G. Komen race for the Cure Indianapolis in April. We have many fun fundraising events and opportunities planned, and have some interesting incentives set up to encourage giving. Did you know that we are close to the $5000 mark already in our fundraising – which means many of us are going to have to color our hair pink!! At $7,500, Rhonda gets a tattoo (help us get there – we think she secretly REALLY wants this tattoo) and at 10,000 five of our staff members (including Rhonda) will shave their heads? The pièce de résistance? Rhonda’s hubby and AlphaGraphics Carmel owner, Michael, will shave his head when we hit the $15,000 mark! For those of you who know Michael – this is incentive enough to donate.
If your company would like to get involved, we are looking for corporate sponsorships: $250 gets your name on our team t-shirt, $500 gets your name and logo on there. We also have a slew of ideas up our sleeves to promote our Team and our sponsors, including media blasts and fun events between now and April.

this flyer in to Hot Box Pizza at 1 E. Carmel Drive and 20% of your total order will go to support Team MammAGraphics. Dine-in, carry-out or have it delivered – just make sure to give them the flyer.
January 24 – Save the date for a night of fun for a good cause at La Mie Emilie. Silent auction, tasty bits, and live music. 5:30-8pm. Watch for more info in early January.
