Plastic Coil Binding
Plastic Coil Binding is an effective, economical way to bind any book or presentation without looking inexpensive. Plastic coil book binding is typically utilized for workbooks, presentation books, and law/medical/financial briefings. Clients appreciate how easy it is to fold pages over one another. Clients also appreciate the ability to lay a book flat and view a center spread.
Plastic coils come in white, black, and clear, but we can jazz up any binding using a custom color coil! Just ask us about our color selection.

Wire-O Book Binding
Wire-O Binding is essentially the same thing as plastic coil binding, but with a bit of elevation in the look. With more of an industrial look, we typically see this book binding type used by higher-end financial firms, architecture presentations, and clients looking to elevate the look of their work. With this option, the center spread and lay-flat abilities are present; however, folding pages over one another can cause binding to come apart. Please note your intended use for your piece before choosing this binding.
Wire-O binding comes in standard silver metal and black metal.

Saddle-Stitched books laying flat when open.[/caption]
Saddle-Stitching
Saddle-Stitching, or book binding with staples, is an economical way to bind books or presentations with low page counts. Books must have a page count divisible by 4, and we typically do not recommend using this binding option if your document has more than 32 pages. That said, if you’re set on this binding option and your document has a higher page count, we can recommend a few options so that this binding can still be utilized.
Clients utilizing saddle stitch binding are typically printing real estate brochures, annual reports, and event programs.

Perfect Book Binding
Perfect Binding is the most expensive option we’re able to produce, and its price tag reflects it’s high-end look. A perfect bound book looks like a magazine or soft-cover book – the cover wraps around from front to back and pages are glued to the spine.
Perfect binding is the perfect way to elevate your presentation materials, but it does have a few limitations. First, our rule of thumb is that any book being perfect bound needs to have at least 25 inside sheets. Books with fewer than 25 sheets will cause the book to fall apart quickly; the lower the sheet count, the less time the book will last. Second, we do not recommend this binding type to anyone looking to highlight a center spread. Because the book does not lay flat, the impact of the center spread can be lost in the technicality of the binding.
Clients utilizing perfect binding are typically printing product catalogs, magazines, brand books or
self-published books.
