The Prado Shopping Center was eager to refresh the outdated mural in their on-site parking deck with a bold new design!

The large outdoor shopping and office plaza, located in an Atlanta suburb, had an outdated mural that needed to be replaced with something fresh and new. In the past, we collaborated with The Prado on installing wayfinding signage, so they entrusted us to design a custom wall mural that would grab customer attention and make a lasting impact. 

Our in-house team at AlphaGraphics Marietta handled every step of the process which included:

• Creating a vibrant and attention-grabbing design for the entrance of their parking deck.
• Removing the old mural and thoroughly preparing the wall for the new installation.
• Printing and installing a durable vinyl graphic, seamlessly applied to the exterior wall.

Before The Wall Mural Installation

Before installation, the old mural showcased a large welcome and thank you message for visitors. While it had held up over time, it was starting to show wear and tear.

Our objective was to completely remove the old mural and cover the wall before adding anything new. We carefully assessed and prepared the space before moving forward with the next step.

Our team prepared the wall to ensure a clean canvas before starting the installation. The photos above showcase the blank wall with a completely prepped surface next to a photo of our team starting to install the new mural. 

Given the scale of the project, it took a few team members working together for the entire installation. The large custom wall mural was installed much like wallpaper, ensuring a seamless finish.
