So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night.
It's so hard to say goodbye, to yesterday.
As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever (Remember this Vitamin C gem?)
Anywho, the point of this whole post is to share some bittersweet news about our own Matt Brunner. After eight years of helping to build this business, Matt has accepted a new position with Pearson Education. Matt will have the opportunity to supply college curriculum to universities across northern Colorado.
During his time here, Matt received some incredible accolades, including:
- Northern Colorado Business Report 40 under Forty honoree in 2010
- Colorado's Top 25 Most Powerful Salespeople of the Year by ColoradoBiz Magazine in 2013
- Featured in the young professional spotlight section of the Coloradoan in 2013,
- Top Ten Salesperson for Alphagraphics Worldwide in 2013
In his own words:
I want to thank every one of my clients for the opportunity to work with each of you. It has been an exciting ride and a great opportunity (over the past eight years) for me to get to know so much about each of your businesses, as well as you personally.
Not only that but it has been a pleasure to earn your trust and in turn your business – I can honestly say that I consider each of you not just a client, but a friend. Please keep in touch, I can be reached at 970.214.0151 or via my personal email at matt.brunner.co@gmail.com – thanks again!
It's been a great run and we are sad to see you go Matt Brunner. We leave you with some fun photos and departing words from the staff...

What do you say about someone who has been such a key part of our lives here at Alphagraphics for 7 ½ years. Matt is an amazing person who worked so hard for us, and we knew we could always count of him.
He had a way of making us laugh even in the most stressful, uncomfortable, and awkward situations. Not many people can say they accidentally hit their owner in the eye with a ball having a ball game in production.
Matt is like a member of the family and we will truly miss him, but also we know he will be successful in his new adventure.
Thank you Matt…

I worked a ton of hours with Matt when we first purchased Alphagraphics. Matt used to have an old chair that was in pretty good shape... Well until he rocked in it so much that he wore out the springs and that's when the creaking began. He would get so upset and frustrated he would rock back in forth back in forth. It was so bad I packed up my office and moved permanently into the conference room, which had no door and was extremely hot from the numerous windows. Anything was better then the consistent squeak.

Matt…. Just when I finally had you trained……geeeze. Know that you will be missed! Good Luck in all your endeavors.

Coming into an industry I knew nothing about is certainly a challenge and at times, overwhelming. Matt has always been good about making sure people feel comfortable and kept the mood light when things got tense or stressful. I wish him luck and success in his future endeavor and we'll all miss his fun and willingness to pitch in where needed here at Alphagraphics!

What I appreciate most about Matt? His efforts to ease tension with random, encessant repeating and shouting of crazy words like..
"Skeeter!"
"McKee, Macaw"
"a'ight!"
Lots of repetitive rhyming nonsense words to lighten the mood...we can always count on Matt to read the situation and help out in the most appropriate (or sometimes maybe not so appropriate, but definitely humorous) ways.

One small fact about Matt: he is not a ginger; it's strawberry blonde!

____________
It has been great! Especially that one time. I can't believe we found 500 pairs of hamster-sized lederhosen.

Matt – Congratulations on your new adventure. I wish you and your family nothing but the best! P.S. Now who is going to do our NCAA Bracket this year?!?
- Stephanie
____________
Matt, it's been great and I'm going to miss all of the joking around we did. AND all of the strawberry blonde/red head jokes.

The best way to be missed is to dodge quickly! Let's do lunch and figure out how to make our next million.

I will miss Matt's loud outcries the most. He always seemed to point out a word I would say often and then obsessantly say it. Words like "dang" and "blammo" got a lot of play around here once Matt Brunner picked up on it. He always wore the best socks too.
Oh also, I had to teach you to never 'knuckle' a girl. High-fives only please.
Lastly, I will miss visiting the Medical Center of the Rockies salad bar with him. Those lunch trips were always incognito, but usually our cover was blown. #printlife

Dear Matt,
I hope you remember all the DJ's I tried to condition you to like by giving you a treat with their picture. Don't worry, you and Kevin Gibson (funny like a robot) will be BFFs no matter where either of you work. Oh ya, thanks for paying me $1 to eat a cinnamon roll out of a paper bag.
Warm Regards,
❤ Nicole

I'll sure miss that Sam! His grooming and superb use of profanity have always been an inspiration to me and he can really cut a rug.
Seriously though, which one is Matt?
