Happy Earth Day friends,
Our office is proud to celebrate and take part in events and programs like Earth Day,
Sustainable Living Fair, and
ClimateWise. However, we are often asked how is a printer environmentally conscious?
Our center has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) since 2008. FSC is an independent, non-profit organization that protects forests for future generations.
Not every printer has obtained this certification or made this commitment to the environment. Through this certification, we can prove we have quality systems in place to track FSC certified material from the forest, throughout the production process and, ultimately, to you, our customers.
When paper is labeled with the FSC logo, it certifies that it comes from sources that employ legal and responsible wood harvesting and processing methods. If you are wondering if your print jobs are FSC certified, simply look for this logo:
You can also check the Chain of Custody certification number from a particular print job to ensure it has met the proper requirements to be considered FSC certified.
This logo can be incorporated into your FSC certified print job upon request. Chances are, many of your jobs may already be FSC certified because we have chosen to use FSC certified paper as our house stock paper. If this is important to you or, to your clients, ask us how we can help you incorporate these important practices in all of your orders.
