AlphaGraphics San Francisco’s history begins in 2010, but the history of our centers goes back more than 20 years. Our beginnings were as Copy Station, a local business with a 20 year footprint in the Bay Area. A family owned business, Copy Station was a neighborhood staple, providing quick copy services to local businesses, color prints and posters to students from San Francisco’s many art schools and universities, and personal printing projects to the general public. When the previous owner wanted to retire and spend more time with his family, he sold his San Francisco stores to local businessman Manuel Torres.
Manuel is a Bay Area native who received his MBA from Berkeley. After a long, successful career with Intel as a general manager and director of corporate marketing, he struck out to become a successful entrepreneur. With an extensive background in visual communications and marketing, he transitioned Copy Station into AlphaGraphics; combining a globally recognized brand known for their innovation and business savvy with a successful local business, known for their awesome staff and quick turn-around times. With this marriage of local and global, we have been able to increase our offerings and better support new and existing customers as a contemporary, energetic, San Francisco-based team of printing experts who embrace our clients’ problems and challenges as are own.
Like San Francisco itself, we are a team of dreamers, risk takers, and innovators who understand that if our clients look good, we look good. Over the past 4 years, we have upgraded all of our digital color and black and white equipment to state of the art digital presses, enabling us to print fast, high-quality materials on demand that rival the quality of more costly and time-consuming off-set processes.
We are an agSigns shop, which allows us to print, finish and mount large size materials like posters, banners, window decals, and banner stands to name just a few! We also offer an exciting array of Marketing Services to help our customers bridge the gap between print and digital and use the right media in the right way.
