Photo Printing & Enlargements In Raleigh, NC

When you need a photo blow up or enlarged, to whom in the Raleigh area do you turn to?

Our state-of-the-art printers can also do standard or custom sized photos. One of the most important things about enlarging a photo is the resolution. It’s advised that you at least use 300DPI (which stands for “dots per inch”). Some popular photo editing software will tell you if your photo is at least 300DPI. Any less and you chance that the photo may not come out crisp and clear.

Some of the newer smartphones on the market will easily take pictures in 300DPI, which could save you money. Instead of running out and hiring an expensive photographer, just take a picture with your (newer) cell phone. Be sure to check the manufacturer specifications to ensure the cell phone camera is good enough. Ideally, manipulate your cell phone camera settings to where it’s taking the largest pic/file size possible. That should come out to around 5-9mb per picture.

There are also images on the internet that are 300DPI as well. If you’re looking for a Monet to hang in your office, but you don’t want to pay 20 million dollars for the real deal, simply find a high quality Monet (or other artist) picture on the internet and then save it to your computer on a USB drive or come back to the AlphaGraphics website and click the “Send A File” button at the top. You can easily upload your photo and have it sent directly to our Raleigh store.
