Frosted Or Imaged Windows In Oceanside, NC
What’s the quickest way to add a touch of class and pedigree to your interior glass windows and doors?
Frosted or imaged windows.
Over the years, frosted window technology has increased to the point where we can now print designs, logos, full color or white advertising designs on your windows!
Back in the 1980’s if you wanted to have the front windows of your shop frosted or painted, you’d have to hire a professional painter who would come in and paint them by hand. Not anymore as everything is done by computers. AlphaGraphics offers a frosted, etched and frosted sparkle film that can be removed at-will which makes it great for:
- Seasonal decorations (holidays/etc)
- Store sales/promotions
- Marketing campaigns
If frosted, etched or frosted sparkle film won’t cut it for you, then we can offer the following services:
Sandblasted glass offers an even opaque appearance. This is caused by the clear sheet glass being roughed up by the tiny bits of sand being blasted at it. A great way to ensure privacy while still allowing the light to pass through the glass. Interiors of banks (eg: bank business manager) often have sandblasted glass which offers privacy for their business banking clients, but at the same time allows for a generous amount of light to enter (which in turn saves on the lighting/electric bill.
Acid etched glass allows for some really cool patterns and designs to be created. Generally speaking, the design is created on a stencil, then a hexafluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) is poured over it and after a few minutes the design is now permanently etched onto the glass. Light can still pass through making it an eco-friendly material.
Adhesive Vinyl Decals are great for when you’re only leasing your office space and the contract or building lease specifies that you cannot make any modifications to the internal and external windows, mirrors or partition glass in the office. Vinyl technology has increased to the point where you can have an opaque vinyl material (with an adhesive background) which will exactly mimic the frosted, etched and frosted sparkle glass effect as well as allow light to pass through it.
Best of all, it won’t permanently damage the surface of the glass. When you get tired of it or have to move out of the office, simply peel it back and the glass beneath is as good as new!
There are countless reasons and ways you should and could use frosted glass. From making your signage have a “warmth” feel to it, to creating classy areas in your office that offer privacy and ample transmission of light, frosted/imaged glass is a great way to dress up your office space.
