I purchased Alphagraphics on Michigan Avenue in 2011 and merged it with another independent printer to form Alphagraphics Chicago North. The business was originally founded in 1987 and I saw it as a great opportunity to utilize my Marketing, Sales and Management skills to grow it into a thriving Marketing Services Provider.

After college and Graduate School my professional background began in Marketing and continued into Banking and finally Financial Services.   Throughout my career, regardless of my position or company, I was always passionate about both building relationships and all forms of Marketing.  Alphagraphics allows me to pursue both and we have a great team of Production, Design and Sales professionals to provide exceptional products and services backed up by exceptional customer service.

In 2015 we moved our Production facility and main office to Lincoln Park to improve our abilty to service customers in the neighborhoods north and west of the Loop.  This offiice is conveniently located at 811 W. Evergreen (Halsted & DIvision) and we continue to operate a Sales Office in Streeterville at 444 N. Michigan, Suite 1200.  

My commitment to our customers is to provide state of the art products and solutions to help them increase their visiblity both online and in print.  Increased visibiltiy combined with a consistent and persistent marketing and sales plan is one of the best strategies for virtually any business to grow and thrive.

AlphaGraphics Chicago North had been serving the printing and communication needs of Chicago businesses for 24 years before Rob purchased the company in September of 2011. "We work with small and mid-sized businesses to provide marketing, mailing, printing and design services, often for companies that do not have those capabilities internally," states Rob.

Rob has worked in a number of different industries, initially in marketing, and moving to mortgage, banking, title insurance, financial services and now back to marketing and printing. All along, Rob's most treasured asset has been his network and the relationships he has forged and maintained in Chicago.

Regardless of industry, company, or position, Rob has always built businesses and/or departments thorugh his own efforts. His network was originally created within the real estate industry while working in the mortgage banking industry. As his network continued to expand, he moved into commercial and private banking.

In 2003, along with his attorney partners, he launched a new company, Synergy Title Services LLC. In just over four years, he built and sold the business to a national competitor. After the sale, Rob migrated back into banking/financial services, first with JP Morgan, and then with Morgan Stanley, while acquiring several licences including: Series 7, 65, 63 and State of Illinois Insurance.

Rob lives in the Lakeview neighboorhood of Chicago. He is married with two children. He is an avid runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon twelve times and having qualified and ran the Boston Marathon in 2010. Rob also completed the Ironman Wisconsin Triathlon in 2011. Rob is also an avid skier, both on the water and on the slopes, and is a youth lacrosse and softball coach.
